1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Zestools ("the Service", "the Platform") at zestools.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and Pro subscribers. If you are using Zestools on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Zestools provides a web-based platform of 80+ online tools for working with digital files. Our services include but are not limited to:

• File Conversion: Converting files between formats (video, audio, image, PDF, document, GIF).
• File Compression: Reducing file sizes while maintaining acceptable quality.
• File Editing: Cropping, resizing, rotating, merging, splitting, and organizing files.
• AI-Powered Tools: Background removal, image upscaling, transcription, and AI-generated content.

Some features are available for free. Advanced features require a paid Pro subscription. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove tools at any time.

3. User Accounts

While some tools can be used without an account, registration is required to access usage history, higher file limits, and Pro features.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Zestools only for lawful purposes. You must not use the platform to:

• Upload, process, or share illegal, harmful, abusive, or defamatory content.
• Process copyrighted material without proper authorization from the rights holder.
• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform without permission.
• Use automated bots or scripts to overload or abuse our servers.
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions.
• Resell or redistribute our services without written consent.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

5. Pro Subscription

Zestools offers a Pro subscription plan with enhanced features, higher file limits, and priority processing.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan. All prices are shown at checkout.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Contact support@zestools.com to request a refund.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days advance notice via email.

6. File Uploads and Processing

By uploading files to Zestools, you confirm that:

• You own the files or have the legal right to upload and process them.
• The files do not contain illegal content or infringe any third-party rights.

You retain full ownership of any files you upload. Zestools claims no rights over your content. Files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of processing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, logos, and tools on Zestools are owned by Zestools and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our brand or tools is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Zestools is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of conversion results. Always keep a backup of your original files before using any tool. Use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zestools and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes but is not limited to data loss, file corruption, loss of profits, or loss of business — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Any outstanding Pro subscription fees remain due.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
